The General Beadle Discovery Program offers cost-free, safe, and supervised after school and summer programming for a maximum of 185 K-5 students. They provide many fun and creative hands-on activities to improve academic achievement and personal well-being for children. The site coordinator is a certified teacher who develops learning centers and project-based activities that follow monthly state academic standards and grade level benchmarks.

Families have the opportunity to sign their child(ren) up for the after school program during the 2021-22 Open House at General Beadle School. Forms for the summer program are sent home with children in May. Student enrollment is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Program staff will notify families of their child’s acceptance or wait-list status.
